⚠️ Important: IMEI Registration Guidelines

Double-check the IMEI before registering. Inform your retailers or users also. Mistakes are difficult — and sometimes impossible — to fix.

Why it matters:

Once a device is registered and connects to the internet, DLC is automatically installed (Enrolled)
An enrolled device cannot be deleted — it can only be Unregistered (Released)
A released device can never be enrolled again via DLC

Made a mistake? Here's what you can do:

Situation	What happens
Wrong IMEI registered, device not yet enrolled	Raise a support ticket within 4 days — our team can delete it
Wrong IMEI registered, device already enrolled	Cannot be deleted; can only be Released (permanently loses DLC lock capability)

Key takeaway: There is no API to delete a pending key. A support ticket is the only option — and only if the device hasn't connected to the internet yet.
